Monjasa announces biofuel supply in Colombia

Global bunker supplier Monjasa has announced it is supplying second-generation biofuel blends in Cartagena, Colombia.

Monjasa has now made it public that it supplies biofuel blends in Colombia. The company supplies B20 and B30 biofuel blends. These are fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) blended with either VLSFO or LSMGO, a source says.

It has a supply capacity of 5,000-7,000 mt/month for biofuel blends in Cartagena.

The bunker supplier also supplies VLSFO and LSMGO by barges in the port. Monjasa has gotten its global offices certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) system by July.
