Night-time VLSFO bunkering to be halted at Kaohsiung - CPC

Night-time VLSFO bunkering at Taiwan’s Kaohsiung will be temporarily suspended between 21–22 January due to “operational manpower adjustments,” according to state-owned oil company CPC Corporation (CPC).

The suspension will apply from 19:00 local time on 21 January to 07:00 on 22 January, and again from 19:00 on 22 January to 07:00 on 23 January, CPC said.

Daytime bunkering operations will continue as normal and will not be affected.

In Taiwan, bunker lead times at Keelung, Kaohsiung and Hualien remain unchanged at two days, the same as last week, while suppliers in Taichung are recommending slightly longer lead times of around three days.
