The cyclone made landfall shortly after midnight on Thursday, crossing the eastern coasts of Odisha and West Bengal between Puri and Sagar Island. It moved over northern coastal Odisha before dissipating on Saturday.
No cyclone-related damage was reported at ports in either state, including major port Paradip, according to Reuters. The Port of Dhamra lifted its suspension on Saturday, per GAC Hot Port News.
Bunker supply at ports, including Haldia, remains unaffected, a source noted.
