Poland-based oil refiner Orlen Group is looking to solidify its presence in the marine fuels market by advancing the construction of a new bunkering terminal on the Martwa Wisla river in Poland.

Construction of the terminal is expected to be completed in the second half of next year, Orlen told ENGINE. Once it is commissioned, Orlen will add a bunkering vessel to service the Tri-City ports of Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot with the capability to supply both conventional marine fuels and biofuels.
ORLEN currently supplies LSMGO, ULSFO and LNG for bunkering and will add 'green' alternatives 'in the near future', the company said.
