The containership, MV Janet Marie, is the second of two dual-fuelled LNG-powered vessels that US-based shipping firm Pasha Hawaii ordered from Texas-headquartered Keppel AmFELS. The ship can run on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.
Pasha Hawaii will take delivery of the MV Janet Marie later this year.
The company took delivery of its first LNG-fuelled containership, the MV George III, in July last year. It currently plies the Hawaii-Mainland trade lane.
