Petrobras testing biofuel blends for shipping

Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras will be testing blends of biodiesel and conventional oil-based fuels on ships over the coming months.

A biofuel blend will be tested on Petrobras' LPG tanker Darcy Ribeiro. It expects these tests to help evaluate the performance of the fuel and its potential to curb greenhouse gas emissions compared to pure conventional fuels.
