Port movements have been suspended as offshore conditions worsen, prompting restrictions on vessel arrivals and departures.
The last sailing from berth or anchorage took place at 11am on 12 October, and the final arrival from sea occurred at 3 pm the same day.
Operations are tentatively scheduled to resume on 14 October, depending on weather improvements. The first sailing from berth and first arrival from sea are planned for 11am and 3pm, respectively.
"Safety is paramount, each order will be closely studied by pilot/s and only carried out if and when safe. All inbound vessels with occupied berths must have a bail-out space in the anchorage," a ship agent said.
Tonight, northeasterly winds of 25 to 30 knots are forecast. Waves are ranging between 3 and 5 feet, occasionally rising to 6 feet, accompanied by periods of rain and reduced visibility of 1 to 3 nautical miles.
Conditions are expected to gradually ease from Tuesday, with winds weakening to 15–20 knots and waves subsiding to 3–5 feet, allowing port operations to potentially resume midweek.
