Port of Amsterdam to get e-fuels plant by 2027

Synthetic fuel supplier INERATEC and terminal operator Zenith Energy Terminals will build a 35,000 mt/year e-fuel production plant at the Port of Amsterdam.

The plant will offer e-fuels including "sustainable kerosene, clean diesel and [carbon dioxide] CO2-neutral gasoline" directly to maritime offtakers and other transport sectors by 2027.
The production unit will utilise green hydrogen produced locally and imported from abroad, as well as 100,000 mt/year of CO2 captured from Dutch industries, the companies said in a statement.
