Port of Ceuta temporarily suspends ops amid dense fog

Ceuta port's sole bunker barge has also halted operations due to dense fog in the area, said shipping agent Jose Salama & Co.

It remains unclear when port operations are likely to resume.

Nine vessels are due to arrive for bunkers in Ceuta today, unchanged from yesterday, the shipping agent said. Four vessels are currently waiting to bunker at the anchorage, while four are waiting at the suppliers' terminals.

Supplier delays are likely to follow this temporary suspension, Jose Salama & Co. said. One of the suppliers experienced five-hour delays yesterday.
