Potential weather disruptions on the US East Coast this weekend – US NWS
Gale-force wind is forecast off the Mid-Atlantic and Delmarva Peninsula areas this weekend, the US National Weather Service (NWS) said in its latest status report.

NWS warned that vessels in the area should exercise caution while passing through or completely avoid them. High winds and rough seas coupled with scattered thunderstorms are forecast in the area.
Even as the storm is mostly forecast to concentrate around offshore areas, it could still trigger bunker suspension or delays in US East Coast ports such as New York and Norfolk, which are close to the storm's predicted path.
