The US Navy’s guided-missile destroyer USS Laboon came under attack yesterday after a missile was launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported.
The vessel did not sustain any damage, CENTCOM said.
The Yemeni militia’s spokesperson Yahya Sare’e claimed the attack on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The US CENTCOM along with a coalition vessel later took down two unmanned aerial systems (UAS) that were launched from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen.
