RFOcean orders four methanol dual-fuel tankers – Methanol Institute

RFOcean has ordered four 6,600-dwt methanol dual-fuel chemical tankers from China's Wuhu Shipyard.

Wuhu Shipyard is scheduled to deliver the vessels between 2025-2026, according to an update from the Methanol Institute (MI).

The tanker design is expected to be based on previous vessels built for Chinese tanker operator Dingheng Shipping, added MI.

London-based maritime investment firm RFOcean operates six chemical tankers with capacities ranging from 3,557-dwt to 19,118-dwt, according to its website.
