Rough weather causes traffic suspension in Durban
All inbound traffic has been suspended in Durban due to rough weather in the South African port, an alert from the Transnet National Port Authority said.

Channel movements in the Mayden Wharf terminal have also been suspended, the alert said.
The port authority said it will allow traffic to resume when the weather conditions are safer.
Northeasterly rough winds of more than 30 knots are forecast intermittently in the area until Thursday, 15 January.
Bunker supplies by barges could be impacted by the closure, a source said. A longer suspension could lead to increased bunkering queues once operations resume and suppliers could face delays due to backlogs.
