Rough weather keeps bunkering halted in Zhoushan’s OPL area

Bunker deliveries across Zhoushan’s Tiaozhoumen and Xiazhimen outer anchorages have been suspended since Friday due to rough weather, a source says.

Meanwhile, bunker operations are running smoothly at Zhoushan's slightly more sheltered Xiushandong anchorage and at the port's inner anchorage of Mazhi.

The port is currently witnessing strong wind gusts of 29-37 knots and swells of more than a metre.

Bunker operations are likely to resume fully from Wednesday, when calmer weather is forecast.
