Sallaum Lines takes delivery of LNG dual-fuel car carrier

Swiss shipping company Sallaum Lines has taken delivery of Ocean Breeze, an LNG dual-fuel pure car and truck carrier (PCTC).

The vessel, built by China's FuJian MaWei Shipbuilding, was delivered four months ahead of schedule on 18 July.

Powered by an LNG dual-fuel main engine, the vessel is the first of six PCTCs on order. The carrier has 13 vehicle decks and a capacity of 7,500 car equivalent units (CEU).
