Port Everglades is a deep-water seaport in South Florida, located close to major Atlantic Ocean shipping lanes.
The LNG dual-fuel cruise ship Orient Express Corinthian arrived at the port on 2 November, according to a social media update by the port authority. It was subsequently bunkered on 3 November.
US-based supplier Sawgrass LNG & Power supplied the fuel from its Miami facility, with eight trucks used for the bunkering operation.
Earlier this year, Sawgrass LNG & Power completed Port Everglades’ first shore-to-ship LNG bunkering operation by supplying fuel to a Ritz-Carlton dual-fuel yacht.
