The vessel, Seaspan Lions, will offer LNG bunkering to vessels on the west coast of North America. This operation will make it the “first company to provide LNG bunkering in the Pacific Northwest,” Seaspan Energy claimed.
The first vessel, Seaspan Garibaldi, was launched in January, while the third is expected to be delivered in 2025.
The vessels will be able to deliver LNG ship-to-ship and operate in short-sea and coastal areas.
