SIPG Energy’s bunker vessel Hai Gang Zhi Yuan delivered bio-methanol to CMA CGM’s methanol dual-fuel containership Osmium.
The 8,000 mt of fuel was supplied by China’s Shanghai Electric, according to local Chinese media outlets.
At the same time, bunker tanker Hai Gang Wei Lai delivered an unspecified quantity of LNG to Pacific International Lines’ (PIL) containership Kota Elan.
“The bunkering operations involving two bunker vessels and two types of green fuel were carried out simultaneously in a safe and orderly manner, fully demonstrating the Port of Shanghai’s capabilities in diversified and large-scale green marine fuel supply and coordinated bunkering at anchorage,” SIPG said.
