Shell to operate LNG bunker vessel in Savannah

Shell has signed a long-term agreement with US-based maritime conglomerate Crowley to operate the LNG bunker barge.

The US-flagged barge, named Progress, is 416-feet long and has a capacity of 12,000 cbm. It was constructed by Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Wisconsin’s Sturgeon Bay and delivered to Crowley.
The vessel will begin operations in Georgia’s Port of Savannah this month.
