October 14, 2024

Total conventional bunker fuel sales decreased in September as fewer ships arrived to lift bunkers at the port.

  • VLSFO sales down 196,000 mt to 2.25 million mt
  • HSFO sales down 55,000 mt to 1.64 million mt
  • MGO sales up 40,000 mt to 347,000 mt

Singapore's VLSFO sales dropped by 8%, while total HSFO sales fell by 3%. However, MGO sales at the port surged by 13%, according to preliminary data from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

  • 53% VLSFO (56% YTD)
  • 39% HSFO (37% YTD)
  • 8% MGO (7% YTD)
