Singapore conventional bunker sales declined 12% in June
June's total bunker sales decreased as fewer ships arrived at lift bunkers at the port.

Changes in bunker sales from May to June:
- Total sales down 547,000 mt to 4.18 million mt
- VLSFO sales down 308,000 mt to 2.33 million mt
- HSFO sales down 180,000 mt to 1.56 million mt
- MGO sales down 59,000 mt to 287,000 mt
Singapore’s VLSFO sales fell by 12%, while total MGO sales declined by 17%. HSFO sales in the port also slumped by 10%, according to preliminary figures from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
In June, 3,353 vessels called to bunker in Singapore, a significant decline of 179 from 3,532 in May—also the lowest since last December.
At 1,245 mt, the average stem size was also slightly lower than 1,337 mt in May.
The port's total bunker sales across the first six months of the year were 7% higher compared to the same period last year.

Fuel grade share of total sales in June (compared to year to date):
- 56% VLSFO (56% YTD)
- 37% HSFO (37% YTD)
- 7% MGO (7% YTD)
