Stevedores Union strike unlikely to impact bunkering in Argentina

The Stevedores Workers Union (SUPA) in Argentina has launched an indefinite strike over pay disputes in the upriver port of Rosario in Parana River.

The strike is largely concentrated around the Rosario port area and will mostly impact agriproduct loadings at certain berths operated by global commodity traders such as Cargill, LDC and ADM, Antares Ship Agents says.

These strikes are unlikely to impact bunkering at the nearby capital port of Buenos Aires.
