The 7,500 cbm capacity LNG bunker vessel, Kairos, owned by Gasum has been sub-chartered outside the company since last October.
Gasum claims its LNG bunker sales volumes have been steadily growing this year and expects further demand growth. “Having Kairos back increases Gasum’s ability to serve its maritime LNG and Bio-LNG customers as effectively as possible,” it adds.
The company has been supplying LNG bunkers to ships across northwest Europe, where Kairos is expected to be deployed.
The Kairos, was previously used by Dutch LNG bunker supplier Titan, and recently carried out a gas-up and cool-down operation in Algeciras.
