Sunoco enters North European bunker market with Verde Marine Energy

Sunoco Marine, a subsidiary of American energy firm Sunoco, has partnered with Netherlands-based Verde Marine Energy to offer bunkering services in the ARA and the UK.

Sunoco Marine is a bunker fuel supplier in ports across US, Canada, Caribbean and Central America, by truck, barge and pipeline, depending upon the location.

The collaboration with Verde will give Sunoco an established operational platform in the ARA and UK.

Verde will get access to Sunoco’s scale, commercial reach and international customer network.

Sunoco and Verde plan to add barges, new products and new supply locations as part of the collaboration.

The companies plan to launch the collaboration from October, the statement said.
