Suppliers in Fujairah resume operations after weekend disruptions

Most suppliers in the UAE port of Fujairah have resumed operations today after bunker operations were disrupted over the weekend due to heavy rainfall, a source says.

Several suppliers are still grappling to clear bunker backlogs owing to the weather-related disruptions. Lead times could be pushed back as suppliers work to clear backlogs.

Other UAE ports, including Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi were also impacted by the rough weather conditions over the weekend, the source adds.
