Suppliers in Zhoushan brace for bad weather conditions

Bunker operations at Zhoushan’s Tiaozhoumen and Xiazhimen outer anchorages may get suspended later today due to rough weather, according to a source.

Bunker deliveries are expected to be suspended for two days (7-8 January), the source added.

However, bunkering will continue at Zhoushan’s more sheltered Xiushandong anchorage and the inner Mazhi anchorage.

Lead times for VLSFO and HSFO have decreased in Zhoushan to 4-6 days now, from 5-7 days last week, while LSMGO lead times have increased from 3-5 days to approximately six days.
