The delivered stem was a blend of 24% ISCC-certified UCOME (Used Cooking Oil Methyl Ester) and VLSFO.

It was delivered via a ship-to-ship (STS) transfer.

Earlier this year, the company has supplied biofuel stems in Singapore to Chinese shipping company COSCO Shipping Lines’ container ship COSCO Houston, Japanese shipping firm Mitsui O.S.K. Lines’ (MOL) RoRo vessels and Japan-based NYK Line’s chartered bulk carrier MT Friendship.

TotalEnergies Marine Fuels’ aims to become a key biofuel bunker supplier by 2030.
