Maran Tanker Management (MTM) is the oil tanker arm of Greek shipping giant Angelicoussis Group.

The French marine fuel supplier bunkered MTM-owned dual-fuel LNG very large crude carrier (VLCC), Maran Danae, with 2,700 mt of LNG in Rotterdam. The bunkering operation was carried out by its LNG bunker tanker Gas Agility.

The short-term supply deal was struck on the spot market, said TMF, indicating a shift from a typical long-term LNG supply contract. The company is flexible to supply LNG for long-term contracts as well as fulfilling needs in the spot market.

TMF also delivered 2,700 mt of LNG to MTM-dual fuel VLCC Antonis I. Angelicoussis in July. It currently operates two LNG bunker tankers at Port of Rotterdam and Port of Marseille-Fos in France.
