The LNG bunker vessel, owned by the Spanish shipowner Ibaizabal, is currently being built at China's Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding and will be delivered by the end of 2026.

The vessel will be chartered to TotalEnergies upon delivery. The company plans to potentially deploy it in Oman, where it is developing an LNG plant to meet the region's growing demand for LNG bunkering.

This addition will expand TotalEnergies' LNG bunker fleet, which currently includes three vessels stationed in Rotterdam, Marseille and Singapore.
