TT-Line, Avenir complete Malaysian LNG bunkering operation

Avenir has completed ship-to-ship liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering for TT-Line's newbuild RoPax ferry "Peter Pan" at Pengerang Anchorage, Malaysia.

This is the second RoPax owned by German ferry operator TT-Line to receive LNG from small-scale LNG provider Avenir. A RoPax is a ro-ro vessel that transports freight vehicles and has accommodations for passengers.

“Peter Pan” is TT-Line's second "green ship" in its fleet of low-emission ferries. According to the ferry operator, its "green ships" are the "first ferries in the southern Baltic Sea" to be able to run on LNG and are also "fully equipped for the use of bio-LNG."
