The new RoPax (roll-on/roll-off passenger) vessel will be approximately 240 metres in length and will be able to accommodate around 1,000 passengers.
It will also a feature shore power-fed battery packs to support operations.
TT-Line said the move aligns with its ambition to remain at the forefront of sustainable ferry operations in the Baltic Sea region.
Earlier in November, TT-Line signed an agreement with EnviTec Biogas for the bunkering of liquefied biomethane (LBM) for its ferry operations.
