Ukrainian drones start fire at Russian oil export port
Ukraine's relentless drone campaign has struck Russia's Ust-Luga port, starting a massive blaze, and notching up its offensive against Moscow's vital energy hubs.

More than 52 drones and missiles were shot down over the Leningrad Region yesterday, its governor Alexander Drozdenko said on social media platform Telegram.
“The drone attack caused damage to the Ust-Luga port area, including a fire,” the governor said.
Over the course of this war, Ukraine has repeatedly targeted key Russian export hubs – Tuapse and Novorossiysk on the Black Sea, and Ust-Luga and Primorsk on the Baltic – using drones.
The Ust-Luga oil export terminal on the Baltic Sea moves crude oil, fuels, coal and other key commodities out of the Baltic Sea area. The terminal has a refinery operated by Novatek.
The latest drone strike adds to the list of several attacks launched by Ukraine in recent weeks, as Kyiv presses its campaign against Russian energy infrastructure.
Over the weekend, Ukraine struck Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl.
The attack came shortly after Kyiv targeted a Lukoil-owned oil refinery deep inside Russia’s Perm region and another drone strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region and an oil processing unit in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region.
