An undisclosed amount of B24 biofuel blend was delivered to Yang Ming’s container ship, YM Masculinity, by the Armada Meridian-operated bunker barge Seiwa Maru in Port Klang.

The delivered biofuel stem comprised a blend of 24% used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME) and 76% conventional marine fuel.

Malaysia-based Green Marine Supply provided the biofuel for the vessel. Green Marine Supply is certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC), which enables it to supply biofuel blends with ISCC certification.

ISCC is a global certification system that sets standards for the sustainable production, sourcing and trade of various bio-based feedstocks and biofuels.
