The typhoon may follow a similar path to Typhoon Bebinca, which struck Shanghai on Monday, potentially impacting Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, according to China's National Meteorological Center (NMC).
Currently, Typhoon Pulasan is situated in the northwest Pacific, about 537 km southeast of Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, and is moving northwest. It is expected to approach Okinawa later today before heading toward southeastern China.
Although some anchorages in Zhoushan briefly resumed operations yesterday, they have been shut again this morning.
Full resumption of bunkering is anticipated by Saturday when calmer weather conditions are forecast, the source adds.
