Operations have resumed in Zona Comun after a suspension that began on 4 April due to adverse weather conditions.

However, smooth bunker deliveries remain subject to weather conditions.

Operations could be suspended again if wind speeds exceed 20 knots, a trader said. High wind gusts are forecast at the anchorage between today and tomorrow, and suppliers are closely monitoring conditions to adjust schedules as necessary.

VLSFO supply at the anchorage fluctuates, with lead times of around 10 to 12 days.

Zona Comun is a key fueling hub off the coast of Argentina, serving as a major bunkering station for vessels in the region. Located near Buenos Aires, it provides essential services for maritime traffic passing through.
