All Argentinian ports are set to face a 12-hour operational disruption today, 11 February, from 12:00 to 24:00 local time, due to a nationwide workers’ protest.

The action has been called by multiple labour unions, including the General Union, in protest against a new labour reform bill currently under discussion in Congress, Antares Ship Agents said.

During the strike period, port and port-related services are expected to be severely limited or fully suspended.

Regarding bunkering operations, a source said disruptions and delays are anticipated. Some bunker deliveries may also pause during the afternoon, but no major impact is expected.

"They may stop [bunkering] during the afternoon. That is all. Pilot boats will also stop, so vessels will be delayed anyway,” the source adds.
