Farmers' protests began in the Belgian port on Thursday morning and ended by evening, a spokesperson from the port authority told ENGINE.

"There was little to no impact on operations and bunkering in the port," the spokesperson added.

Farmers caused slight traffic disruptions in Antwerp and Zeebrugge by driving their tractors along the parking strips.

These protests came just a month after the farmers held similar demonstrations in the port demanding better pay and working conditions.
