Port Vauban is a yachting marina located in Antibes on the French Riviera.
The port authority did not disclose the name of the hydrogen supplier.
“This milestone aligns with the port’s development strategy focused on energy transition and innovation in the yachting sector,” it said in a statement.
H2 bunkering gains momentum
Several European ports have recently moved forward with liquid hydrogen infrastructure to support bunkering.
The Port of Amsterdam carried out its first truck-to-ship liquid hydrogen bunkering in May. The Port of Rotterdam Authority partnered with Norwegian startup EDGE Navigation to develop LH2 bunkering infrastructure.
Last month, Klaipėda’s port in Lithuania secured a permit to construct a green hydrogen production and supply facility within the port area.
