The LNG was supplied to a dual-fuel bulk carrier in Fukuyama District of Hiroshima.
The company used its bunkeringvessel, Seto Azure, to carry out the fuel delivery. The bunkering vessel was delivered on 9 April and will mainly be used for STS bunkering operations in the Osaka Bay and Setouchi areas.
The company said previously that the vessel will supply LNG to LNG-capable vessels, including bulk carriers operated by Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), Kawasake Kisen Kaisha (“K” Line), and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).
Osaka Gas has earlier supplied LNG to vessels by truck-to-ship or port-to-ship methods.
