Sinopec enters Singapore’s licensed bunker suppliers list

Chinese energy firm Sinopec gets enrolled under Singapore’s licensed bunker suppliers list, according to Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority (MPA).

Under its Singapore arm Sinopec Fuel Oil Pte Ltd, the company will offer marine diesel oil, marine gasoil and fuel oil to Singapore’s bunker market, according to the MPA document.

Sinopec is a major bunker supplier in Chinese ports. The inclusion of Sinopec takes the list of total licensed bunker suppliers in Singapore to 42.

Singapore's bunker suppliers sold 49.99 million mt of bunkers last year.
