Under the partnership, Evos plans to expand its terminal storage capacity in Rotterdam. Expansion work will include adding five new tanks, each with a total storage capacity of 13,500 cbm. Along with the new tanks, a dedicated berth will also be constructed.

The new berth will accommodate bunker barges up to 135 meters in length. Additionally, the berth will be equipped to pump methanol at speeds of up to 750 cbm per hour.

The tanks will be able to store bio-methanol, e-methanol and grey methanol. There will also be an option for co-mingled or segregated storage, based on quality and biogenic content.

The duo has not specified when the methanol storage facility will become operational.
