Yang Ming takes delivery of third LNG dual-fuel vessel

Taiwanese container shipping company Yang Ming Marine Transport (Yang Ming) has taken delivery of a new LNG dual-fuel container ship.

The 13,000-TEU vessel, YM Wayfinder, can operate on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

It is the third of six LNG dual-fuel container ships planned for Yang Ming's fleet, the company said on its website.

Deliveries of the vessels began earlier this year. Yang Ming also said the first two vessels have collectively bunkered over 11,000 mt of LNG since entering service at different points this year.
